White House refutes allegation that big donors get special access to White House
By Michael D. Shear
What does being a top Democratic donor get you in Obama's Washington?
The White House fought back hard Wednesday morning against the suggestion by top Republicans that money can buy untoward access to his administration.
The charge from the chairman of the GOP came after a report in the Washington Times that the Democratic National Committee rewards its top contributors with perks that include small-group briefings with senior Obama administration officials, conference calls and other exclusive access to policymakers.
Two one-page factsheets posted online Wednesday by the paper explain the benefits of membership in the DNC's National Advisory Board and its National Finance Committee.

Barack Obama is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life.

You know you can trust Obozzo over Fox News. After all, he's only had to throw every person he ever knew under the bus (from his mother to his pastor of more than 20 years) just to get elected so he definitely has credibility on his side. As a monument to his credibility you just need one word; ACORN.

1869 'Nation' (N.Y.) 28 Jan. 67 The 'interview', as at present managed, is generally the joint product of some humbug of a hack politician and another humbug of a newspaper reporter.

Robert Wolf is simply a "friend of the Obamas for decades"? I doubt that they even knew each other before Obama announced his run for the White House. All THIRTY-NINE donors treated to a lavish White House reception on St. Patrick's Day were "long-time Obama associates"? Hardly.
Marty Nesbitt, who bundled between $50,000 and $100,000, and John Rogers, who bundled more than $500,000, have both spent time with Mr. Obama in the White House, including joining the president in the White House movie theater, which Mr. Obama's aides said is nothing surprising. Two other top bundlers described invitations to bring their families to the private bowling alley adjacent to the White House. Both spoke to the Washington Times on the condition they not be named because they did not want to damage their relationship with the White House.
Oh wait: "No, they're not all friends," said Lanny Davis, a Democratic lawyer who helped the Clintons respond to allegations about Lincoln Bedroom guests back in the 1990s. "They are supporters of the Democratic Party who are generous with their financial support, and without them we would not be able to compete against our Republican opponents."
That's what I thought -- the REAL issue, of course, is the quid pro quo -- whether anyone donated with the promise of benefits with membership in the DNC's National Advisory Board and its National Finance Committee.

So, the White House is denying that ANY of those donors received access to Oval Office, bowling alley, theatre, etc.? Interesting ...
