DNC raised $11 million in October -- and is raising more off Sarah Palin

The Democratic Party raised $11.5 million in October, a record month for a non-presidential election year in the post-McCain-Feingold era, according to a party source.
That leaves the Democratic National Committee with $12.9 million in cash on hand and $4.4 million in outstanding debts. The Republican National Committee raised $8.7 million in October has $11.2 million cash and no debt.
All told, the DNC has raised $66.3 million so far this year, compared to the Republican National Committee's $69.2 million. Including transfers and in-kind donations, the total haul this year at the DNC was $73.3 million, compared to $76.9 million at the RNC, according to Democratic and Republican sources.
On Friday, the DNC e-mailed a fundraising solicitation that seeks to take advantage of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's return to the news.
"Remember, this is the person who coined the term 'Death Panels' -- and opened the flood gates for months of false attacks by special interests and partisan extremists," wrote Mitch Stewart, the director of Organizing for America, a project of the DNC that is the heir to the president's campaign organization, Obama for America.
"As we approach the final sprint on health reform, we can't afford more deception and delay. We need to be ready for anything -- and have the resources to respond with ads, events, and calls to Congress when the attacks come.
"So we're setting a big goal: $500,000 in the next week to help push back against Sarah Palin and her allies. Please chip in $5 to help reach our goal."

Believe the Dems on Global Warming too?
From Yesterday's NY Times-
"In several e-mail exchanges, Kevin Trenberth, a climatologist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, and other scientists discussed whether a string of recent years of relatively stable temperatures undermined scientific models that predict long-term warming.
“The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t,” Dr. Trenberth wrote."
Looks like Al Gore's profits are in jeopardy- no problem for Al: he's already a multimillionaire from this panic.

Your accounting failed to add in Palin's own PAC, which is doing as well as the RNC.

Nothing's as dumb as folks donating to Doug "tinfoil hat" Hoffman up in NY-23, who's rescinded his concession and claiming the election was stolen from him.

Hearing republicons and csonsevatives complain about debt would be funny if so many people were not so ignorant. Of the 11 trillion in national debt handed to President Obama, all but one trillion of it came from three republicon administrations, and almost every penny of it was the result of irresponsible spending and giving massive unconsionable tax cuts to millionaire, billionaires, and the wealthiest corporations in the hisotiry of humankind. Right now we face a real crisis which demands swift massive and decisive action, which is what Obama is doing. Unfortunatley republicons/conservatives put the vain pipe dream of returning to the trough for their wealthy constiuents far and away ahead of doing what is good for the United States.
There is a special place in hell built especially for them because their sould are so small they run the risk of disappearing without special safeguards to make sure they are propoerly punished for thei sins.

Unless you're a fleabag like Soros and betting on Democrats destroying the system, how stupid can you get?

"...and almost every penny of it was the result of irresponsible spending..."
You mean entitlement spending? Right? You have to, because that's what the majority of the federal budget goes to. You know all the unchecked entitlement programs started by Dems (Bush was a moron to give Medicare drug benifits BTW). And this president is going to create another bloated entitlement system that will further bankrupt us.
