Obama to hit the swing-state circuit

By Anne E. Kornblut
In keeping with a time-honored tradition, President Obama will take his state of the union message to the people over the next week. And perhaps not coincidentally, the people he is seeking out live in swing states.

The day after his address, Obama will travel to Tampa, for a day trip on Thursday expected to emphasize jobs, aides said.

Then, next Tuesday, Obama will head to New Hampshire, the White House announced.

Both Florida and New Hampshire are re-election swing states -- with 2010 races underway.

He will likely conduct town hall meetings in one or more places, and more stops may be added.

But don't confuse it with a campaign swing.

To: free donny, you made some great points.

My concerns-- with the mood of the country ever state could become a swing state. No one voter anywhere can be taken for granted. That's the feel I get in my poll. Consequently, he has a great deal of fencing/pruning to do, even in so called "BLUE" states.

Without liberty and freedom from government persecution and police-protected vigilantism, even a job and health insurance mean nothing...

"But don't confuse it with a campaign swing."

Did I read this right? Are you kidding, Anne?

Obama--Campaigner in Chief--sad excuse for a president.

He President just has to stop playing "Mr. Nice" with the teabagging GOP. He's a gentleman, true, but the job he has to get done is much dirtier than it has to be and is worse than he thought.

Repairing this nation after 8 years of neglect, theft, and corruption during the Bush-Cheney Kleptocracy is basically mission impossible unless more than 4 years are involved. Not only are REpubes not contributing..they are obstructing America's progress.

President Obama still commands a crushing majority:

Senate: Dems 59 votes - GOP 41 votes
House: Dems 257 votes - GOP 178 votes
White House: Dems 1 vote - GOP 0 votes

He's just going to have to toughen up a bit to weild his seems the GOP will NOT allow for a nice way to do this...its gonna get rough.

R.I.P. GOP - You had a chance to help- but chose your own disintegration.

People should boycott attending anything Obama, until he gets it.

He has to have his jets of acorns, because no one else will show up for his PHOTO OPS.

NPD Sociopathic dual profiles in power, is a pretty ugly thing to see. People are just not that codependent.

If only he put some energy into his current job of being a President instead of his previous job of being a candidate.

Wall Street was down again today because of Obama's misguided economic plans.

Healh care coverage has become more costly with less coverage because of Obama's misled health care reform.

Nothing is getting better and he has a real knack for shooting off his mouth and making it worse.

BO truly is a clown, albeit, not funny nor humorous nor entertaining. He hasn't yet reached the despicable status of the true "axis of evil"("w", DICKY, DONNY, KARL, Condo, etc. but he may get there, though for different reasons). I really can't stand politicians. TFL, Ken
