I hope he does come out with the bill. It will lock up his senate seat for the Republicans.

The crushing weight of Health Care Reform and Financial Regulation Reform have not yet provided enough crushing weight for the economy. Like a bullet to the brain, the hairbrained Cap and Trade should just about finish us off as the cost of healthcare, financial services and energy will set the table for more subsidies to those who would otherwise be priced out of the market by these extremey bad ideas. It's about re-distribution of wealth.

China is now the largest user of energy. Yet China and India are exempt from this "cap and trade" that is going to ruin the USA economy. We will not be able to compete and our energy costs will sky rocket, without accomplishing anything to stop pollution. This is just a way for Soros, and his crony's including Obama to get very rich on the Chicago Climate exchange.

This will be the largest boondoogle this country has ever seen. Here we have the dem's increasing the cost of living for all Americans, also, taking control of any and all use of energy to push an agenda that alternative energy sources will mitigate and offset the carbon based energy sources that NOTHING can replace today or for the next 10-20 years. This Cap & Tax Bill would make sense if we had a real alternative to fossil fuels, but, now, it appears to me the Adm is playing politics with the people along the Gulf Coast, where 10's of thousands of jobs are being lost due to the spill and the political moratorium. This is simply a tax on all Americans, rich and poor. If it cost more to produce a product because of increased energy costs, these products will cost consumers more because the companies can't absorb these cost that the Pres himself says will automatically create substantial cost of living and manufacturing.

The bill will come out picking their winners and loosers, just as they have with the unions, car companies, banks and Wall Street, leaving you and me sucking wind.
