Ann Coulter on WND: 'They're a bunch of fake Christians'

After being dumped from a WorldNetDaily conference over her participation in the gay Republican group GOProud's "Homocon," Ann Coulter is attacking the far-right website.

"These are fake Christians trying to get publicity," Coulter said on Fox News' "Red Eye." She's upset with WND not just for dropping her but for publishing quotes from her email exchanges with WND editor Joseph Farah.

Farah responded in a statement: "Coulter called me a 'publicity whore' for my decision. But look who is on television talking about this -- throwing mud, name-calling, smearing not only me but my entire staff. I will not engage in the kind of ad hominem attacks that have made Coulter so famous and that are making her even more of a media darling in this age of reckless anger and character assassination for the sake of entertainment."

Coulter is still a columnist with WND.

The people you are referring to - Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh - may be hateful people, but that doesn't mean all Republicans are. By calling people of either party (whichever you do not proscribe to) hateful, hurtful names, you are doing society a disservice. Better you keep your mouths shut.

Posted by: JG08

The problem with this line of thought is that these people are driving the agenda of the GOP. The spineless syncophants in Congress don't dare to raise their voice in protest for fear of the wrath of Rush et al.! These bomb throwers ARE the voice of the Republican party until people of principle stand up to them the same way Margaret Chase Smith, the venerable 'Lady from Maine' condemned Joe McCarthy and started him on his trip to the ashcan of history. Where are the real Republicans???

So, Anne Coulter had no idea that WND would react this way to her appearance at this conference? And WND had no idea of her self-aggrandising approach to any hint of disapprobation? One can only assume that in the future, both will be more careful in their associations.

I am sure the Christian God cringes everytime Coulter uses her evil mouth in His Name. She is no entertainer or authority of anything. She is simply a vile person who makes her living smearing the good names of decent Americans. She bears no resemblance to what God teaches and she has no right to defame Him by usurping His Authority. Coulter displays the worst face of anything christian and someday her own name will be so vilely tread upon that she will not survive living among the humane and decent people of the world. God help her. I often wonder just what kind of parents raised such a vile, filthy, daughter.

You liberals are funny - you talk about hate speech as if the right has a monopoly on it, but then go on and on with your vicious ad hominem attacks against people you just don't agree with.

It's easier to call Obama a Muslim than to articulate your problems with his middle east policies, or any of his policies for that matter. But Bush is a hick, or Coulter has a big Adam's apple . . .

You libs like to come across as cute, but you just sound silly and hypocritical. Just like those who say - with certainty - Obama is a Muslim.

Well, I HAVE read some of them, but I don't think vicious and malicious gutter-sniping can properly be described as "witty and satirical"... as for the preposterous claims she makes, in lieu of reporting actual facts, I've followed up and checked too many of them to mistake them for the truth.

Jesus was all about healing the sick, tending the lame, and "came to seek and save those who are lost." But He did it without government intervention or interference.

In other words, He did it Himself (since He is God and can do whatever He wants - and doesn't need a government to do it for Him).

As for Ann Coulter, it's amazing to me the number of people who are so contemptuous of Ann Coulter/Republicans for hate-filled vitriol, yet have plenty of it to dish themselves. Maybe everyone should take a good long look at themselves (in other words, check out the plank in your eye before criticizing others for the speck in theirs). No, we're not confused by any means.
I don't know how you could come up with that when Republican politicans never tell their followers the truth. For example, George W. Bush lied us into the War in Iraq.

I have tried to listen to Ann Coulter, but I find hate speech disgusting. Ann Coulter is a hate speech expert, right next to Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.

That's probably why so many Republicans say hateful things all the time and are never short on hate speech themselves, it probably comes from listenting to hate speech all the time.

ALL THE FAR RIGHT WING AND FAR LEFT WING NUTS NEED TO GO!

Ann Coulter is an entertainer, more than likely this is just a publicity stunt.

cashmere1, Ron Paul does not belong on any "list of Right-Wing Wackos from the lunatic fringe of the GOP". He's the ONLY presidential candidate the Republicans can nominate that appeals to mainstream Americans from every party.

Put Ron Paul in the White House in 2012 and everything will CHANGE for the better. The far right hates him because he won't let them play war and the far left hates him because he won't let them play nanny state. Dr. NO is the man!

Ron Paul has NEVER voted to raise taxes, NEVER voted for an unbalanced budget, NEVER voted for a restriction on gun ownership, NEVER taken a government paid junket, NEVER voted to increase the power of the executive branch. He voted AGAINST the so called Patriot Act. He voted AGAINST regulating the internet. He voted against the healthcare bill for several Constitutional reasons and because they wouldn't let him read it. He voted AGAINST the war in Iraq. He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program. He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. Treasury EVERY YEAR.

There is a reason they call him “ Dr. No” in Congress, he won’t go along with the unconstitutional waste, loss of rights and freedoms, nation building, unconstitutional wars and host of other actions that are contrary to the will of the people yet supported by the majority in the federal government.

Wake up if you haven’t already! Stop worrying about what party a person belongs to and start looking at the person. Judge them by their fruit.

Of course WND is a fake Christian. Just as Sean Hannity, Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are fakes. The rubes expect a Christian voice and refuse to be fooled and manipulated by anything else.

And if the rubes wanted to be fooled and manipulated by members of the Church of Scientology, then Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck and the rest would all be claiming to be operating thetans.

The goal here isn't to get the heaven, it's to make a buck while fooling the idiots in the Fox News audience into voting against their own best interests.

Ann Coulter haters might actually want to READ the article cited.

She is being dropped by an arguably right-wing group that is birther-friendly and strongly anti-gay marriage. Further to the right than she is. Ann Coulter is NOT a birther by the way.

Why is she being dropped ? Because she is appearing as a paid speaker before a liberal Republican group that supports gay marriage and the repeal of DADT. As she points out.. she regularly appears before ALL types of groups including liberal college campus's and Democrats even.

Ann Coulter is a typical evangelical Christian conservative and supports their positions: pro-Christ, pro-life, pro-family and pro-traditional marriage.

===========================================First you appear to take the Democratic Party to task for 'having taken America further down the road to socialism', then you acknowledge that there is a "recovery". the CBO has given the Obama health plan a thumbs up and virtually all economists taken seriously agree something had to be done. The reason some, and I repeat some Americans are upset with the healthcare bill has to do with the indoctrination they receive from sources like Fox, and ... well ok, Ann Coulter. After 8 years of the most horrific mismanagement of the economy by Bush et al, I find your implication that our current state is due to Obama laughable. Imagine if there had been no change -and Bush was still back in office. I suspect we would see millions living in 'Hoovervilles'. Ah, but we're becoming "socialist". Like Canada. Or Germany. Hey wait ! Those pinkos have 'socialized' healthcare, pay far less and get better epidemiological results.. oh AND their economies are far more regulated and doing far better than ours. Oh, but those are nasty little factoids and we know conservatives hate those. As for November, it will come and go. There will be changes, but don't get too carried away. Repubs have NO ideas- and as long as that party is represented by the likes of Sharon Angle and Sarah Palin, there will BE no ideas. God help us.

The people who hold positions of leadership in the Republican Party have sat idly by with their lips zipped while the Taliban wing of the party has declared itself in charge and has set about the task of recasting the party in its own intolerant image. Predictably, the purge has begun. Ann Coulter has been escorted off the field for daring to believe that she is free to speak to any group she choses. Newt will soon find that he is is too liberal for the party as well.

Many in the party have big dreams of a 2012 comeback, but exactly how do you think that will happen when the people running the show will not allow any candidate with the slightest chance of attracting the votes of moderates to be nominated? In the field of potential presidential candidates for 2012, Mike Huckabee is as far to the left as the Republibans will allow things to swing. If people like Jindall, Pawlenty, and Romney aspire to be president, they had better start mulling a third-party candidacy now. Those that are disappointed in the Democrats but don't share the Republiban's narrow-minded world view had better start looking now for a third-party candidate whom they can support.

Because the Pilot Pen people do not allow the mono-amine blokcer people to take dopamine from me using the Psycho Tom Foley network that takes the neuro-transmitter dopamine from me when I write. Down with the Psycho Tom Foley who electronically sleep deprives people, blocks bowel movements and nero-tranmitters like dopamine when they write with certain instruments not Pilot. Go Pilot Pen...Go Japan !!! At least you respect human rights...Your fan, Burke2 of Burke2Data.com and IdeasForVenture.com

I take this to mean that the right is now defining "librul" in a way that includes Coulter.

Which makes Justice Scalia a left wing radical socialist activist justice of the Supreme Court.

As opposed to the "real Christians" the ultra conservative right wing hate groups.

Ann is getting on in years and she is no longer the darling of the right. Sarah Palin has replaced her as the prime female conservative voice so I think Ann is branching out.
The hypocrisy of the right is amazing, a couple of ditto heads I work with who used to love Ann are now saying she is an old washed up hag now that she is speaking at a gay event.
To be honest I always thought Coulter's image is a big act anyway and she just said outrageous things to get attention. Sadly for her mainstream republicans are now outdoing her on that.

They are ALL a bunch of fakes out for money and publicity. Jesus has nothing to do with it, sadly.

lol that last sentence. If she's still a columnist there after this, they're just having this argument for publicity. This is the Kanye/Fiddy spat all over again.

Wow... hateful so-called "Christians" having a cat-fight with the vapid Coulter. Someone please pass the popcorn!

The neo-con's better get with the program or be steamrolled by true conservatives. (true conservatism doesn't give a good-god-damn who's boinking whom...there are far more important things that need to be dealt with)

Ann, you go girl!
