Ad of the day: Mike Castle's 'Snapshot' of Christine O'Donnell

Rep. Mike Castle (R-Del.) has launched an ad against his tea party-endorsed primary challenger Christine O'Donnell.

The ad goes after O'Donnell with a series of claims that the Republican party has been using against the upstart candidate, according to Hotline On Call. The ad claims O'Donnell "owes $11,744 in back taxes and penalties," and "was sued by Fairleigh Dickenson University for unpaid expenses." The ad goes on to say O'Donnell, "defaulted on her mortgage," "ran up huge campaign debt and left vendors and staff unpaid," and "used campaign donations to pay her rent."

The ad sources The News Journal for all of its claims. The Delaware-based paper reported on Sept. 1 that O'Donnell had $11,751 in unpaid campaign debt from her 2008 campaign, as of her latest campaign finance report. An earlier report on March 20 went into further detail regarding O'Donnell's money woes;

...while she was courting voters, she amassed thousands of dollars in campaign debt, was confronted by the IRS about unpaid income taxes and sold her Wilmington home to a campaign staffer to avoid a sheriff's sale ordered to settle mortgage claims, a News Journal investigation shows.

Castle is turning up the heat in going after O'Donnell following Tea Party-endorsed candidate Joe Miller's victory over incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski. Castle, among other Republicans, fears that continued victories by candidates like Miller and O'Donnell could pose a threat to the party and its ability to win House and Senate majorities in November.

I don't like Castle or O'Donnell. One's a RINO, the other's incompetent. I wish Jan Ting was running again. This time he would win.

Castle is a RINO of the first order. He's always voted with the other party on issues that really matter.
The only possible utility he might have is to fill a seat in order to make it possible for the GOP to run the committees. Same with Kirk...of profoundly limited use, but a heck of a lot better than the alternative.
What a shame.

When a politian is reduced to slinging mud rather thasn debate an issue you must know that the fear of defeat is all that they have to offer.
Mark Levin invited this guy to his radio program to answer questions about his record and positions that should be known by the electorate.
NO ANSWER AS YET!! WHY?
Politians that have lived off the public for too long need to go !
This guy certainly is one we do not need and should not want!
Republican incumbents who have not adhered to principles now being advanced aggressively by TEAPARTY sponsored candidates must be defeated just as the Democrats who are being used by this President and his cohorts to "FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE AMERICA".
We need to reverse direction to restore American principles.

Vote this bum out of office. We don't need mud-slinging when people are supposed to be on the same side. Castle is a piece of dog turd. He's a RINO and we ne3ed to get rid of this arrogant bum. Go home you effing useless crook. You've stolen enough from us. Vote for Christine O'Donnell and don't listen to Castle's lies any more. Check for yourself.
