Axelrod on Letterman: 'Witchcraft' brought down seal

Senior White House adviser David Axelrod went on 'Late Show with David Letterman' Wednesday and explained why President Obama's seal fell off a lecturn earlier this week ("witchcraft") and who he expects to run for president in 2012 (Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee). As for Donald Trump -- "It requires a big ego to run for president," Axelrod said. "I don't think he could handle that."

He said Sarah Palin had "her own special kind of charisma" and that he had a soft spot for her ever since "she winked at me" during a vice-presidential debate.

LOL - ain't that the Truth!
During the 2002 and 2004 elections, Righties called Democratic reps and voters "terrorists" and "anti-America" because they didn't go along with Bush's IraK Scam that's now cost us over $1 TRILLION and 5,000 of our Finest - for nothing.

bobbo2 - If you really believe that the moderate Barack Obama is a socialist you are dumber then toast.

The right loves to throw labels around - even as they have no idea what the words actually mean. I can call you names, too. So?

I happen to believe that Bush and, more actively, Cheney did more to advance fascisim than anyone since Il Duce. Personal liberty was been set back decades bu those morons than at any point in American history - including Adams ridiculous sedition BS.

But what do I gain by screaming "fascist"? It is better to work on solutions than to point fingers. That is why you can't take the tea party seriously - they have no ideas, just rhetoric.

In fact, all your ilk cares about is economic liberty. What you foolishly do not see is that your heroes are trying to remake the USA not in the shape of the 1950's but in the shape of the 1890's.

In the 1890's the rich were free to make all the money they wanted and keep almost every penny of it.

But you and I, you dimwit, were in the working class. There was no real middle class - and, such as it was, it did the bidding of the rich while living just above the poverty level.

ALL of the things you enjoy today - weekends, vacation, the 40 hour week, family time, etc. were given to you solely by the efforts of unions and, drum roll please, socialists who forced the rich to yield. Businesses and the rich did not volunteer anything.

In tea bag America we will be dragged back to the Victorian Age. Except the big surprise for cultists like you is that the rich will not give a crap about you once that happens.

I may think you are a moron but I would fight to keep your standard of living.

If people like you get in control it is dog eat dog.

And bobo, to the rich you are little more than Alpo.

So, if you want to think that President Obama keeping us out of The Great Depression II was wrong and "socialism" you are entitled to your opinion.

Those of us on the left don't need your thanks.

The fact that you are still free to fulminate at will, watch your 401k grow and not woeey about where your next meal will come from is thanks enough for us.

it's too bad Angle, O'Donnell, Palin and other teabagging women are so scared of the national media. they would all make great humorous talk show guests.

P.S. Wiccans don't sell their souls to the devil or anything else in return for favors, as do witches, and O'Donnell claims to have actually lain upon an alter (she probably forgot to mention, naked) during a satanic ceremony. But, of course, this witch will now have you beleive that it was all in fun. And you believe her. Looks like the devil fooled another one.

But then, pvilso24, O'Donnell didn't claim to have been a Wiccan, now did she? She claimed to be a witch and to have practiced witchcraft. That's something entirely different. The former practices the white arts and seeks harmony with nature, while the latter seeks to influence others and events through various incantations and spells, also know as the black arts.

But then most liberals already know that, so your final statement is rather pointless.

I think God's trying to tell Obama something, that he's not fit to be president because he's a liar, a fraud, a criminal, a brutal despot who treats human life like garbage.

I'm sure you have lots of evidence to back that up. I'm surprised you managed to type all of those words and not short out your keyboard with drool.

It doesn't reqire a big ego to run for President. But some Presidents have had big egos. Our current President has the biggest ego I have ever seen. When President Obama responded "everybody knows how I am" he was right. He is the President who has run up the biggest debt in history. And he is the President who has moved us toward Socialism. And he is the President who...........

Yes.. liberals love to ridicule the imperfect conservative O'Donnell... but at least she is NOT Harry Reid's "pet" as he described her challenger Chris Coons.

IF Christine was a Wiccan Democrat... liberals know doubt would support her candidacy as an example of diversity !
