Obama plans four-city campaign blitz just before Election Day

By Anne E. Kornblut

President Obama will go on a four-city blitz right before election day, traveling to Philadelphia, Bridgeport, Chicago, and Cleveland over the final campaign weekend, Democratic officials said Thursday.

He will hold major rallies in three of the cities -- Bridgeport, Cleveland and Chicago -- and do a canvassing event in a Philadelphia neighborhood.

Vice President Biden will accompany him to Cleveland. On Nov. 1, the Monday before election day, First Lady Michelle Obama will campaign in Las Vegas and Philadelphia, officials said.

The stops are a roadmap to places the Democratic National Committee and the White House believe Obama can influence the outcome in the final days of the campaign -- especially when it comes to turnout. Obama is also expected to make additional stops for specific candidates.

The events are:

Saturday, Oct. 30
Obama:
· Philadelphia, PA: Moving America Forward GOTV Canvass Kickoff Event
· Bridgeport, CT: Moving America Forward GOTV Campaign Rally
· Chicago, IL: Moving America Forward GOTV Campaign Rally

Sunday, Oct. 31
Obama and Biden:
· Cleveland, OH: Moving America Forward GOTV Campaign Rally

Monday, Nov. 1
Michelle Obama:
· Philadelphia, PA.
· Las Vegas, NV.

Health insurers and employers have been telling their customers and employees that recent raises in rates and co-pays are in anticipation of the expenses they anticipate from the so-called "Obama Care" law. Are they telling the truth? If not, and the increases are not justified, will Pres. Obama address that in this last minute campaigning? I thought the insurance companies were supposedly going to benefit from the new law because they will be selling insurance to people who are not currently insured and because they will no longer have to pick up the cost of subsidizing the abuse of free emergency room care by people who can't afford doctors.

I heard a reporter ask the HHS Secretary about Boeing's announced increased costs to their employees. She seemed to be unaware of this issue and gave an unsatisfactory wishy-washy response.

Is the President even aware of this attack on the law or is he too isolated from what's happening to the public?

How much is this campaign blitz costing the taxpayers? Does the DNC reimburse for any part of Obama's trips?

This is great every time he comes to Philly Toomey's numbers go up 4 points and he is already ahead by 10 in Rasmussen's latest poll.

Vote for the man who promises least; he'll be the least disappointing.

Mortgage refinancing is an outstanding plan particularly as the home mortgage rates are imminent downward. Under such state of affairs it will be beneficial for you to refinance your home as you’ll be able to obtain a lower interest rate thereby reducing the amount of your monthly payment. Search online for "123 Mortgage Refinance".

In any of the remaining cities of the Rainbow Tour, is Mr. Obama speaking out on the previously hidden epidemic of bullying against LGBT and gender non-confirming youth that leads to suicide? Is he speaking from the backyard of a family that has recently lost their child to peer harassment and abuse?

Has he already forgotten last year? Every blue state he visited turned into a red state - NJ, Mass, and VA. If he is as smart as he says he is, why can he not see that Americans do not like his politics and his policies?

All the tax dollars that go into his incessant campaigning---jets, security, food, five star resorts, Michelle's shopping, et. al. could be used to create jobs for unemployed Americans......but hey, the press gets food and drinks and the media laps it up. WHEEEEEE!

Obama ought to do his "Day Job" and quit being a 24/7 "cheerleader."

When unemployment is at 10% / 17%,

Foreclosures are rising,

Poverty levels that are higher than FDR's term,

One does not go:

Golfing 52+ times

Take "monthly vacations"

Cruise around on AF-1, supporting candidates, on the taxpayer nickel.

Do "Date Nights" and tie up traffic in New York and elswhere.

Parent-Teacher conferences?

Doing photo-ops or getting on the tube every freakin' night.

Blaming other people for screw-ups instead of actinglike he's the smartest man in any room. (Note to Obama- Bill Clinton is a Rhodes Scholar and a REAL sex machine)

The bottom-line is if I was screwing-up this bad at work, I'd be F-I-R-E-D.

The first step comes on 2 November, whe there is a foreclosure on the House and the Senate.
