Obama's MTV townhall: Live stream (video)

President Obama is holding a "Moving America Forward" town hall at George Washington University Tuesday night. The event is billed as a special conversation between Obama and his supporters, and the audience is made up both of GW students and Organizing For America members. Obama took questions from both audience members and via Facebook, Twitter and Skype. (The online questions were picked in advance by the Democratic National Committee). You can watch the town hall live here:

The White House is also hosting a live Facebook discussion of the event here.

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, | the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."~ Cicero - 55 BC

"Moving America Forward" is a far cry from what's needed in America.

If we learn anything from history, maybe we should heed Cicero's advice?
