Reid: 'I've never had to prove my manhood to anyone'

In an appearance on MSNBC's "The Ed Show," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was asked about Republican opponent Sharron Angle's comments that Reid needed to "man up."

"She spends most of her time in her bunker, I don't know if it's Cheney's bunker," said Reid after the show's host, Ed Schultz, said he had spoken with Angle in the airport on his way to the interview. Reid went on to cite a number of Angle's past statements in an otherwise friendly interview.

The forum for Reid's comments is an interesting one, considering Schultz made demeaning remarks about Reid's anatomy on his radio show in July.

Reid's manhood is of little importance with matched against his favor for ILLEGAL INVADERS. He clearly supports them over American citizens!
Strange position for a Senator from a State with 14% unemployment! Guess he's looking out for potential voters when he should be looking out for American voters!
Can you say TRAITOR?

Title : A businessman is angry at his lost cash bag.

A businessman is drowning in the ocean.

Stimulus : we should rescue him immediately.

Power first : Nope ! How do we pay for it. Just let him go under much like Lehman Brothers.

Stimulus : He is dying right now.

Power first : Nope ! You can't save his money bag.

Stimulus ( clock is ticking ) : : We can do everything.

Power first : We are serious about jobs. Where are jobs ?, echoed by the angry businessman.

Chanting deficit :

1. Amid chanting deficit, the same old failed policy.

2. Amid chanting deficit, hands-off approach over huge trade deficit from oil money spill & trade imbalance with China from remorseless health care premium.

3. Unfortunately, as a direct consequence of remorseless health care premium, numerous folks have no choice but to hang onto affordable offerings, since one in two households is said to face a hard decision between necessity & drug.

4. Inaction cost in relation to health care reform totals $9trillion over the next decade.

5. Over the next 10 years, total Bush tax cut costs will equal $3.9 trillion, .... the tax cuts would increase deficits by nearly $4 trillion between 2005 and 2014.

The most critical debt : Personal Bankruptcy

The current recession came from Personal Bankruptcy largely as a consequence of the relentless health care costs, pain at the pump, and the subsequent subprime mortgage crisis.

Facing huge trade deficit from oil money spill & trade imbalance with China, the primary economic policy of previous administration was " spending baby "to the great delight of republicans' sponsors.

In regards to Sharron Angle’s comment to Sen. Harry Reid, about “manning up,” it’s too bad Reid ( obviously ) doesn’t have former British Prime Ministers Winston Churchill’s or Benjamin Disreali's charisma - but then few did.
If he had, he might have come up with something, like, “Madame, I hardly think this is the place to prove my manhood to you,” or “If I did, Madame, I hope I should not find your physical positions as unrealistic as your political ones.”

If the good people of Nevada reelect Harry Reid I will never vacation in Las Vegas again. The people of Nevada can bask in high high unemployment!!

To Harry Reid Nevada has become "fly over country" instead of his home state which he has been elected to represent. No longer will the good people of Nevada be satisfied with the crumbs that Prince Harry has been throwing to them. They have real needs, those needs, which an insider Washington politician could not possibly understand.

Man up Harry, man up. November is coming, and with that there will be new opportunities of employment coming your way, because certainly, the old job will be gone.

The People will speak.

We'll remember in November!

Harry Reid has never been known for his amazing personality but Nevadans have elected him repeatedly because he delivered for them. He is not responsible for the collapse of thier economy; they built a lot of new casinos just in time for the Bush crash. It will be a shame if they take it out on him and send that nutty woman to the Senate because that sure won't help thier business. Unless they are counting on nuclear waste going to Yucca mountain to help the economy.

Angle's comment are an attempt to suppress Democratic turn out. As I have talked to my friends across the political spectrum the most shared opinion is Harry needs to grow a pair. The only other politician as lacking in the moral faith in his convictions is BHO. It is my hope that Harry if he is returned to the Senate will grow a backbone it would make his re-election easier.

Sharron Angle is a bad joke. But Harry Reid has only himself to blame for the fact that this race is even close. He has been a weak and ineffective majority leader and apparently not much better as a campaigner. Reminds me of Tom Daschle, who gave the store away to George Bush, then also managed to lose his seat while majority leader. Reid had a chance to call Angle out the other night on her lies and her idiocy, but wimped out. Now, it looks like she will be one of several Tea Party lunatics infesting the new Senate.

For those of you supporting Sharron, I ask this---Why are supporting someone who lacks the courage to answer questions from the media (excepting Fox and Fox isn't media, its just an agit prop outlet)?

Wy are you supporting Sharron when she claims Sharia is the law in Michigan BUT fails to offer anything to prove that assertion.

Do you think she'll be honest with you once elected? Her masters are the right wing billionaires and Rupert Murdoch- not the electorate.

The "man up" comment was obviously cobbled together by Karl Rove's elves and pre-programmed into Angle's head for use at some point during the debate. Who cares?! The comment itself is inane and its use was a non sequitur. Harry Reid was a boxer and he could probably tear the head off of men half his age.

For those of you supporting Reid, I ask this---Why are supporting someone who puts illegal aliens ahead of his constituents? There are people in LV living in the storm drains behind the hotels on the Strip. In Reno, there is a big tent city. NV has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country. I was also shocked to find out that 81% of the mortgages in NV are upside down. In addition, NV has one of the highest foreclosure rates in the country.

To add insult to injury, illegals continue to work in the hotels and restaurants there while Americans and legal immigrants go without jobs.

With all that's going on in his state, you would think that fixing these problems would be Reid's priority. If you think that way...well...I've got some oceanfront property in Nevada I'd like to sell to you.

What's Harry's #1 priority? It's amnesty for illegal aliens and passing the DREAM Act! Never mind that is true constituents are suffering---illegals come first for Harry!

It's long past time for the voters in NV to hand Harry his retirement papers!

Get your facts right!
The day the Democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009 -- It was actually January 3rd 2007.
The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.
For those of you who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this:
January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:
At the time:
The Dow jones closed at 12,621.77. The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%. The Unemployment rate was 4.6%.
George Bush's Economic polices SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION!
Remember the Day.
January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.
The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?
BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!
THANK YOU DEMOCRATS for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP, and 4.6% Unemployment to this CRISIS by dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on
the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOS!
BTW: Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie- starting in 2001 because it was Financially risky for the US economy.

The U.S. has been reduced to insolvency by the ultra Progressive Left, shifting their deeds ( the money they stole ) as manna -
