Sarah Palin endorses John Raese for ... Pennsylvania
By Matt DeLong
Updated at 2:09 p.m.
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin offered her latest endorsement via Twitter on Tuesday, but this one might leave voters a little bit confused. See if you can spot the problem:

Palin's endorsement of John Raese is surely welcome, except he is the GOP nominee for the Senate seat in West Virginia vacated by the late Sen. Robert Byrd (D) and currently held by Carte Goodwin.
In fairness to Palin, questions have been raised about whether she actually writes her tweets and Facebook posts. Still, now might be a good time for civic-minded Pennsylvanians named Raese to get started on a write-in bid for Congress.
UPDATE: Palin has since tweeted again to include West Virginians.
SECOND UPDATE: Palin endorsed via Facebook another pair of GOP Senate candidates on Tuesday: Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania and John Boozman of Arkansas.

Your bias is hateful and ridiculous.
Do you think we are stupid, and don't know what you are all about?
Do you think you can perpetuate a double-standard that trashes conservatives for any typo but lets liberals get away with racism and hate mongering?
Do you think the ridicule and attempts to marginalize Palin will work?
Do you think you are scaring independents and "moderates" away from Sarah by laughing at her?
Do you think you are more intelligent than Sarah?
Really?

Sorry, no. Palin is responsible for the content of messages sent out under her name. Period.
Of course, if Palin had endorsed him for Senator from Florida, it might make a bit more sense, since Raese's wife is a registered voter there and they have a multi-million dollar home in the Sunshine State. Then again, does Florida really need a fourth candidate for Senate this time?

Palin obviously doesn't know WV from her A$sh@le. Maybe she thinks she can see PA from her house?

Palin is such an idiot. She is going to wind up with only a few hundred loyal Senators, Congressman, and Governors whom she will have helped elect. What a fool! She doesn't understand politics. She doesn't know how to play the game. She will probably have a terrible time getting re-elected in 2016.

OK, Palin stopped giving interviews except to her hometeam at Fox News, she does not write editorials nor opinions...but chooses to send text messages only - figuring...NO WAY I can screw this up!
Oh well.
Someone should look after that poor unfortunate woman.

gawd. when will these republican idiots be able to admit that this woman is completely incompetent? when?

Palin doesn't have a clue like usual. She would say and do anything special interest wanted her too. Toomey in Pa. is a total mistake. We're trying to put some laws in wall street, not put wall street fat cats into office. Pa. needs Sestak who has served his country all his life in the military.

Wouldn't it be nice if a day could go by without hearing about every sarah palin burp? How many other, more deserving politicians get this kind of gratuituous press coverage? Zero. What is the deal? My pet frog could be elevated to national celebrity status with this kind of free ride.

Palin may be able to see Russia from Alaska, but apprently not Pennsylvania and West Virginia. I think she and O'Donnell should run together in 2012. The bumper sticker-Vote for 2-Get1 brain!

a "parvenu?" that would assume she actually has arrived somewhere, however recently. you flatter her ;).

Why would anyone concern themselves with who Sarah Palin endorses? This parevenu is a quitter, a rabble rouser, and a dope.

I am not sure if a Palin endorsement is even that helpful in WV. Raese has the GOP vote but even conservative democrats probably aren't crazy about Palin.
