House ethics panel releases full report on Rangel

By Emi Kolawole

The House Committee on Standards and Official Conduct has released their report on Rep. Charlie Rangel's (D-N.Y.) ethics trial.

The official committee report is only seven pages long, but it is accompanied by two attachments and 11 appendices. The last appendix, Appendix K, is split into 12 parts, with the first part taking up over half a gigabyte's worth of data.

The release also includes the full text of House Resolution 1737, which calls for Rangel to "present himself in the well of the House for the pronouncement of censure ... with the public reading of this resolution by the Speaker."

I am amazed that the people in his district have no ethics keeping this man in. It shows you the kind of people he represents they have no morals or they would have voted him out. The people have shown America that this type of behavior is acceptable to them. Congress should relieve Rangel of his committees he is on and put a decent congressman on the committee. He will go down as a low life in history and he didn't have to do anything that he did. Pure power and greed

Censured with no disciplinary action. Just like any ATTORNEY caught raiding someone's pocket.

How much money can an ATTORNEY vacuum up? 2.2% of GDP for the TORT TAX or $1020 per man, woman and child per year, plus the PROBATE LAW TAX, plus the IMMIGRATION LAW TAX (ask Meg Whitman about that one),plus the FAMILY LAW TAX (a geek buddy gets to keep 22% of his income. The rest goes to spousal support for a ex-wife who refuses to get a job, child support, and taxes.

How much money can an ATTORNEY SUCK UP? Perhaps this is why manufacturing is driven off shore. Cause of the environmental and worker law suits.

What is the difference between and ATTORNEY AND A THIEF? One has a license and police protection.

What a joke! They sure do care for their own. We have to break the culture of intitutionalized corruption in the senate, but that is going to be difficult to accomplish.

It would be nice to know how many welfare people voted for this crook.I don't see how any honest person could vote for some one like Rangel or are his voters just to stupid to keep informed?
