Palin: 'I'm the biggest klutz in the world' (video)

By Emi Kolawole

Updated 6:43p.m.

Barbara Walters released a new tease of her "10 Most Fascinating People of 2010" featuring former Alaska governor Sarah Palin (R) and her husband Todd Palin. The tease was featured during the broadcast of ABC's "The View" on Wednesday.

In the clip, which is roughly a minute, Walters asks Palin whether she will appear on "Dancing with the Stars," assuming she doesn't run for president:

Walters: Well, if you do not run for president, would you consider doing Dancing with the Stars?
Palin: [laughing] I'm the biggest klutz in the world.

During the interview, Palin also scoffs at the theory that she either prompted tea party supporters to vote for her daughter Bristol during her appearance on the show, or that tea party votes were the reason for Bristol's success.

"What'd we do, call every tea party in America?" laughs Palin. "Bristol has the greatest work ethic of any young person that I know, and I knew that she would do well" she continues. "Surprised us that she wanted to do this show though. She had never danced before."

While Palin may not have called every tea party in America, The Washington Post did -- although not specifically to discuss Bristol Palin. A months-long survey of the nation's tea party groups showed that only 14 percent identified Palin as the tea party's leader, while 7 percent identified Glenn Beck. A third of the groups identified "no one" as the movement's leader. So, whether Palin called every tea party group or not, she still has strong support within the movement.

Also, a Washington Post-ABC News poll, found that, at the time, 54 percent of Americans thought that Bristol advanced on Dancing with the Stars due to large-scale voting by viewers who support her mother. Only 14 percent thought it was because she was one of the best dancers on the show. Twenty-six percent of respondents had no opinion on the matter.

A conservative blogger also claimed credit for the massive voter turnout in favor of Bristol, saying he orchestrated the fracas to get back at Democrats for years of voter fraud at the polls.

The oly way to make Sarah go away is to stop talking about her hatefully or otherwise. What's so hard? Get over yourselves.

God Bless Gov Palin

Palin is a narcissist. She is not concerned about the lies she tells because she believes that she can explain them away if they are exposed.

She wants attention and to get it she says things that are controversial in front of sympathetic crowds such as Tea Party members.

Although she is frequently exposed as empty-headed she stands tall provided that there are enough like-minded supporters cheering her on.

Her thoughts are simplistic, factually wrong and bereft of profound thought but, as said above, Sarah doesn't care provided that she can continue on her merry way.

She was certainly a klutz at mothering, if she thought prayer and words about abstinence would stop her daughter from getting pregnant.

when will they call back the Palin Alaska pastor for another try 'casting out the devil'???

The first try did NOT work!

La Palin can't even be honest about how coordinated she is. Of course she's not a klutz. She strutted across the stage the GOP convention in those high heel pumps without missing a beat. She walked across the lawn in Anchorage in those strappy red peep-toe pumps when she quit the job she promised to do.

What she means is that she has no rhythm. That I can believe.

Way to much media attention.

Mention Sarah Palin and I see that the slime balls of the world congregate.... come slithering out from under the bridge sewage outlet to drop their pearls of crap and then hopefully slither back into the ooze.
Liberal haters and just plain ignorant dolts have made hateful comments... I hope their children, their parents, their friends and themselves develop puss filled sores that ooze out the bile that is in them and they slowly just fade away and expire.

I have now come to the conclusion that Joy Behar is a big fat skank and you could probably pick up the smell 30 feet away.
Its amazing the bile is not oozing out of her pores.
What a distasteful and utterly useless excuse for a human being. This is one hateful person that could just expire and I would smile..

"Bristol has the greatest work ethic of any young person that I know" (this after SP said that for Bristol, going to 'college', "working" and pretending to raise her own child, was just too much for her.)
Is Bristol employed or going to 'college' now? Doing her 'abstinence' thing (personally or professionally) now?

Considering her obvious idolatry of the Facebook website, why didn't SP think of the young guy who built Facebook into a huge money-maker, as having the 'greatest work ethic'?

Who freakin cares? The left's obsession with the Palins has made those who keep bringing her up laughingstocks.

The best part of all of this? Listening to people who support Barack Obama, the most incompetent president in US history, making fools of themselves by insulting Palin. Sorry, but when you support Obama, you surrender any right you have to criticize someone else's competence, in anything.

Hasn't finished college. Maybe hasn't finished high school.

Hasn't held a job.

Flying to LA to be a celebrity is not "work ethic" even if she did have to invest a lot of time in learning the steps. No one can take that away from her, but before we start praising her work ethic, maybe she should ... oh, I don't know .... work?

Of course, the mom quit her job to be on TV too, so how would she know what work ethic is either?

As long as the mainstream media continues to pay attention to these imbeciles, they will continue to dominate our news cycles. Doesn't anyone recognize that this woman was simply an accident of history? She and her entire family should be exiled to Fox "News" where people who don't know any better can spend their dreary lives obsessing over everything they say. There are more important things to concern ourselves with than the comings and goings of the Wasilla Hillbillies. You betcha!!!

Bristol did it for the money.

Everything the Palins say and do is only for the money.

Why folks voted for Bristol clearly had nothing to do with any "skill" whatsoever. We all saw perfectly clearly, even those that voted for her, that Bristol has no dancing skills whatsoever.

That her mother would actually admit that Bristol had never danced before is also clearly obvious.

Just how many young people does Plain know? Let's see, we know about Levi's work ethic...can't even get through high school. Same with Track. And Willow appears more interested in rendezvousing with her boyfriend than working at anything. So that leaves Bristol. The young, sweet, loving mother who had no qualms about leaving her toddler back in Alaska while she went off to LA to dance and 'have some fun." Why, because she deserved it for being a mom for 18 months? Wait...I see a pattern. Sarah 'worked' hard at being Governor for about the same amount of time, then decided that she should be paid for giving speeches. And golly, if she quit, there would be no accountability, and lots of cash. So dear sweet Bristol, Ms. Abstinence, walks out on her child because she deserved to have some fun. Some work ethic, Sarah. The girl quits the only job she ever held to run off to LA for money. You quit the only real job you ever held to...fly south for cash and fame. The acorn doesn't fall far, does it? I will not be watching this woman try to justify the lack of parenting in her household.

Good example of why the squirrel eater from Alaska is so slimey. You would not have to call all the Tea Party nuts to get them to vote for Bristol. They would do it naturally. She knows that. What she would have to do is call them all and tell them not to. So everybody else is crazy and what happens has no connection with her. Just be honest, that is what carry's the day.
