Joe Biden: Onion spoof is 'hilarious'
Vice President Biden addressed the wildly popular spoofs of him in the faux-newspaper The Onion during an interview with Anna Robertson of Yahoo! News released Friday. The verdict?
"I think it's hilarious, the stuff they do on me," Biden said.
For the uninitiated, you can view a slideshow of Photoshopped images that accompany The Onion's fictional accounts of Biden's adventures, which range from "Shirtless Biden washes Trans-Am in White House driveway" to "Joe Biden shows up at inauguration with ponytail" to "Biden receives lifetime ban from Dave & Buster's."
"I saw the one of me washing a Trans-Am automobile in the driveway shirtless with tattoos all over myself," Biden said, adding: "By the way, I have a Corvette -- a '67 Corvette -- not a Trans-Am."
The parodies have become so popular that they made the pages of the New York Times in November, in an article that featured the following exchange with newly named White House Press Secretary Jay Carney:
A spokesman for Mr. Biden, Jay Carney, said the vice president was unavailable to be interviewed about his portrayal in The Onion.
"Let me get this straight: You want to interview the vice president about stories about him in The Onion?" Mr. Carney asked, sounding at once amused and dumbfounded by the request. "Well, I'll give you credit for trying."

Now that he is Vice President, doesn't he know he has important work to do? He can use the transcript from his campaign to remind him, if he has some free time. He did make a 4 year commitment.

REALLY sonorus? "Intellectually-challenged left...."???? Well, you and your kind DID "drink the kool-aid" a long time ago. I KNEW George Bush was a dullard (no, I am NOT "misunderestimating him"), but Sarah makes "duh bya" look like a genius! The good news? She's your LEADING presidential nominee for President in 2012. Oh PLEASE let her win your primary! Remember, she's a Russian expert, 'cause she can SEE Russia from portions of Alaska!

You cry at the Onion? Has it ever occurred to you that you take things way too seriously?

People on the left are so intellectually challenged, they have to post their fictional views twice.

from the ghost of Christmas Future—
Former President Barak Obama died today after leaning down to tie his gym shoe and being hit by a truck. He had stepped out of his car to join his friend John Boehner for a pickup game of basketball. Boehner, tears streaming down his face, gushed, “It could have been me!” and noted, “The poor bastard never saw it coming.”
Reaction from the left:
Reaction from the right: He was our most effective president ever—forget Reagan’s silly old trickle down economics. Obama put the full tax burden where it should be, on the lower class. Ha! Remember when we had that goofy middle class? All that union bellyaching crap? And that nutty Social Security, Medicare? Bunch of communist crazy ideas! He got us straightened out.
Reaction from the left:
Reaction from the right: It was often alarming to hear him speak…but the thing is you had to relax, and look at what the man actually DID.
Reaction from the left:
Reaction from the right: I mean, when he said he wanted out of Iraq and Afghanistan, I nearly pissed my pants. Even the Nobel people thought he meant that one!
Reaction from the left:
Reaction from the right: He was great! He could justify ANYTHING by calling it a compromise. That takes REAL political talent. I tell you, the man was a GENIUS.
Reaction from the left: He got that puppy for his daughters, finally, I think….

People on the right are so intellectually challenged. Do you think they believe the Onion is serious news? After all it is no further from the truth than FOX News?

" Joe thinks it's hilarious the things they say about him " No truth , even in his musings. It's like he thinks the World will regale him for appearing before the camera's on Ash Wednesday with a dirty forehead. Going to church on Easter and Ash Wednesday will do you no good Joe, as you are excommunicated for your stand for Abortion. Oh, by the way " Chuckles " you might want to inform Nancy Botox , Dodd, and Giuliani they are in the same boat with you as you defy Catholic Teaching. As to the Onion spoof , well Joe it may be funny to you , but when we peel the Onion we still cry like most ordinary people.

He is a really down to earth guy, well liked by just about all. Didn't know his staff used to call him Joe. Thanks Joe!
