Stephen Colbert to testify on Capitol Hill on 'Protecting America's Harvest'
This summer, comedian Stephen Colbert had United Farm Workers President Arturo S. Rodriguez on his show to discuss the "Take our Jobs" campaign, in which in which legal residents could volunteer to replace immigrant field laborers. (Colbert himself tried it for a day.) Now Colbert is going to testify alongside Rodriguez before the House Judiciary Committee's immigration subcommittee.

Saxby Chambliss investigating whether staffer left gay slur
A gay slur left on the blog Joe.My.God was traced back to the Atlanta office of Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) on Tuesday. Chambliss has confirmed to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution that he is investigating whether one of his staffers left the comment, which suggested that all gays "must die."
