Thomas Nides looks to be in line for State Dept.'s No. 2 job

With Deputy Secretary of State Jacob Lew apparently set to become the new head of the Office of Management and Budget, We're hearing his likely successor at the State Department is Thomas R. Nides, chief operating officer and chief administrative officer at Morgan Stanley.

Congressional women can't stop the press in charity softball game

The congressional women member's softball team bested the press in the early innings at Guy Mason Field Wednesday night until the reporters rallied for a 13-7 win before a raucus crowd that included Justice Sonia Sotomayor, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, GOP leader Rep. John Boehner much of the House leadership on both sides.
