Corn Gluten
Some columnists write stuff and then don't follow through. They talk the talk, don't walk the walk. But not me: The very day that my Rough Draft column on corn gluten made the paper, I put it on the lawn, the first major step in what will be a long campaign against crab grass. I'm thinking there are more columns in this. I'm thinking corn gluten could become my bread and butter, that it could be a running joke, that at least once a month it could inspire more hilarious commentary and columnistic hijinks. Everyone needs a gimmick, and mine is gluten.
