Need Blogroll Help
For about three years I've been trying to put together a blogroll to add to this site. Sadly, I don't read very many blogs, and when I do am usually so appalled that I fly backward through space with my hair visibly scorched and my eyeballs desocketed. If you know what I mean.
I will certainly include sites like Memeorandum and Arts & Letters Daily, which I find useful, but what I am really looking for are well-written blogs on politics, science, culture, humor, or whatever, that contain original information and are produced by sane people.
So post some suggestions. You can also email me at work -- achenbachj@washpost.com.

"A financial crisis is not a morality play. What matters most isn't the precedents that are set, the amount of taxpayer money that's implicated or whether people are made to suffer fully for their financial misjudgments. In the end, what matters most is that we get through it as quickly as possible with an economy and a financial system intact."
But I prefer morality plays. Fools and greedheads should suffer. Maybe I'm just being mean.

Just a little wire story that you may have missed: Aghans say 39 of those killed in U.S. airstrike on wedding party were women and children, including the bride.
Meanwhile, great piece on an Iraqi bookseller, with photos from ace Post photog Andrea Bruce.

Sad news about Tony Snow. Condolences to his friends and family.
