Chat Ramp-Up: A Ticket Giveaway to Savor

Last year's Savor drew more than 2,100 attendees. (Brewers Association)

Beer lovers, you know that if you don't already have tickets to Savor, the swanky "American craft beer and food experience" set for May 30 at the National Building Museum, you're out of luck. The thing has been sold out (at $95 a ticket, no less!) for weeks. With 68 small breweries coming to pour and to pair their brews with sweet and savory appetizers, it's no surprise.

You've got another chance. Beer columnist Greg Kitsock (whose column today asks the question "Is Sam Adams too big to be considered craft beer?") will be one of the guests on our Free Range online chat today at 1 p.m. (along with grillmeister Tony Rosenfeld and the always-entertaining David Hagedorn), and in addition to our regular old book giveaways, we have two tickets to Savor for the source of our favorite beer-related query. That's a $190 value!

To whet your appetite (or your thirst, I suppose), here's what Greg wrote about Savor after its first go-round last year. And here's a video from the Savor folks themselves.

For those of you competing for the tickets, here's a hint: Your chances will rise if you make us laugh.
