Match game: The knives belonged to . . .
Thanks for playing along. A little fun was had by all (well, except for CAC2).
In order, from left to right: Joe's (bought at a 400-year-old knife store in Kyoto), Leigh's (bought from an artisan at a Smithsonian Craft Show; she does appreciate the craftsmanship!), Jane's (bought for culinary school) and Bonnie's, bought four years ago to augment her midsize knife collection.
Pretty good guesses on the baguette knife. Bonnie bagged it about 20 years in Vallauris, France. It has taken a licking and keeps on ticking.
