Join the Crowd

More than a dozen Maryland political enthusiasts have expressed interest in running for the open 3rd District congressional seat this year, and that group will now include Annapolis businessman John White.

White is one of the few Republicans to express interest. Democrats Peter Beilenson, Oz Bengur, Paula Hollinger, Kevin O'Keeffe, Andy Barth, Mishonda Baldwin, and John Sarbanes are all in the mix.

White ran his brother-in-law Paul Goetzke's successful campaign for a seat on the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court last year, and says in the press release announcing his bid that his immediate family includes five Maryland State Police officers, one U.S. Park Police officer and a state's attorney.
