Zeese Wins the Triple Crown
U.S. Senate candidate Kevin B. Zeese has completed the triple crown of minor-party nominations, securing up the backing of the Populist Party.
Zeese previously won the nominations of the Libertarian and Green parties as part of a "Unity for Change" campaign. The newest addition, the Populist party, ran Ralph Nader's presidential campaign in 2004.
Zeese is seeking to appear on the fall ballot as a representative of all three parties. That likely will require court action. Current law requires candidates to be registered with the party that nominates them. Zeese is a registered Green.
