Cummings Speaks Tonight at Convention

U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings, who represents Maryland's 7th Congressional District, is scheduled to speak tonight at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, sometime between 5 and 6 p.m. local time (7-8 p.m., Eastern time.) Cummings was Sen. Barack Obama's campaign co-chair in Maryland.

Cummings follows the parade of Marylanders who spoke at the convention last night: Sens. Benjamin Cardin and Barbara Mikulski, Rep. Chris Van Hollen and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer.
