"Nothing Comes Close"
At 8:52 p.m. at Sen. Barack Obama's Bethesda headquarters, a huge cheer went up as NBC called Maryland for Obama.
"Nothing comes close to this," Del. William A. Bronrott (D-Montgomery) exclaimed. "We're at a tipping point for so many issues," he said, adding that this is why new leadership is needed in the White House.
Bronrott voted early so he could spend Election Day at the Wisconsin Avenue headquarters phone banking.
"Just because it's Election Day doesn't mean the work is done," Bronrott said.
