Johnson Watch: Wednesday Edition

Prince George's County Executive Jack B. Johnson has still not returned from his trip to Africa.
This is clear because his spokesman said again today that he had no information about the trip and that Johnson will answer all questions about it when he returns. And our phone is not exactly ringing off the hook with answers, so he must still be traveling.
We still know only that the county's economic development team planned a trade mission to connect local businesses with counterparts in Cameroon. The executive and at least three county workers left for Africa last Monday. Spokesman James Keary has said they would join the development workers in Cameroon, but he could not say where else they might go, nor how many county employees took the trip nor whether county taxpayers were footing the bill nor which day the delegation would return.
Expect blog postings on the topic until more information is forthcoming.

There is no removal mechanism in the Prince George's County charter.
Maybe Jack is setting-up his campaign headquarters. Since he's term-limited here, he can run for King of Cameroon.

So, out of curiosity, how possible would it be to impeach Johnson?
