O'Malley Elected Vice Chair of Democratic Governors
Gov. Martin O'Malley has been elected vice chair of the Democratic Governors Association for 2009, the Associated Press is reporting.

Gov. Brian Schweitzer of Montana will serve as 2009 chair, succeeding Gov. Joe Manchin of West Virginia.
According to AP, O'Malley says he's honored to have been elected, and he looks forward to working with the federal government to get the economy back on track.
