Kratovil Gets Armed Services Membership
Freshman Maryland congressman Frank Kratovil has achieved one of his early goals. The First District Democrat has been named to the House Armed Services Committee.
In a recent interview with the Washington Post's William Wan, Kratovil said his committee choices were Agriculture, Transportation, and Armed Services. There are two major bases in his area, Fort Meade and the Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Kratovil, of Queen Anne's County, represents a sprawling district that includes part of Anne Arundel County.
