Former Post Editor Joins Public Affairs Firm
Phyllis Jordan, the former Maryland editor of The Washington Post, has joined The Hatcher Group, a public affairs firm that works with foundations and nonprofit organizations with the goal of advancing social change.
The firm, located outside Washington, announced today that Jordan has been hired with the title of vice president. While at The Post, Jordan's responsibilities included overseeing coverage of Maryland government.
The Hatcher Group deals with a range of issues including domestic and global poverty, tax and budget issues affecting low-income families, at-risk youth, education, the environment and human rights.
