You Could Do Some Time for That Corona With Lime
A bill introduced by the Prince George's County Council on Tuesday could land those caught drinking alcohol in public behind bars.
The bill, sponsored by council member William A. Campos (D-Hyattsville), gives the option of as much as 10 days in jail, in addition to the $100 fine already in place, as punishment for the misdemeanor.
The bill was referred to committee. Stay tuned to Maryland Politics to see whether it passes.
