Now It's Your Turn: Who should be the next LG?

Here's something you haven't heard much about yet: running mates. Should Martin O'Malley keep his lieutenant governor, Anthony Brown, on the 2010 ticket? Who would you pick if you were Bob Ehrlich, Larry Hogan or Pat McDonough? Let's start the conversation.

The Maryland LG position is the most do nothing, wasteful position in the state. They could save the taxpayers a bundle by eliminating it.

Here's a comment we received on our Facebook site:
Chris Meekins: If Ehrlich declares, O'Malley should "let" LG Brown go to the Obama Administration and then put Jim Smith on the ticket. This would greatly eat into Ehrlich's Baltimore County numbers.
If Ehrlich runs, he should try to talk Doug Duncan into joining the ticket which would give him the 3-5% bump he needs in Montgomery County. If not Duncan, I say State Sen. Nancy Jacobs, Delegate Jeanie Haddaway, or former State Senator Sandy Shrader

Did O'Malley give out gift cards from developers like Dixon did? Is it legal to give out gift cards to constituents?
