O'Malley answers 'a certain radio talk show host'

Governor

With Wednesday night's technical difficulties, it's not likely that many people saw the final question of the night from Gov. Martin O'Malley's "virtual town hall." But it was one of the more entertaining of the Web cast -- and offered a glimpse of what a rematch with former governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. (R) might be like.

Thumbnail image for Ehrlich.jpgThe question came courtesy of "Steve of Annapolis" and never mentioned Ehrlich by name: "A certain radio talk show host keeps claiming he scrimped and saved and left the state in great shape with a one billion dollar surplus, and he blames you for the present budget gap. What's up with that?"

"People say all sorts of crazy things on the radio, you know," O'Malley (D) shot back.

We'll spare you the substance of the rest of O'Malley's response. But it is now posted on YouTube and can be watched here.
