First newspaper endorsement goes to O'Malley

It's only February, and officially, at least, we still don't even know who the candidates are. But Gov. Martin O'Malley has landed his first newspaper endorsement for re-election: St. Mary's Today says the Democratic incumbent deserves another term.
In its editorial, the paper says it is clear that former governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. (R) is running again. "Had Ehrlich done a good job when he had the chance, this newspaper would be glad to see him return to state government," the editorial says. "But the record is clear, he blew it."
The paper hardly offers a ringing endorsement of O'Malley but argues that his handling of the state budget makes him worthy of another four years: "O'Malley may not be everyone's cup of tea, but he has done a better job than Ehrlich and our readers are encouraged to give him a second term and never hesitate to give him a piece of your mind."

There isn't much difference in Erhlich or O'Malley. Nothing changed from one administration to the next. As a 20 year state employee, this administration maybe the worst ever. That includes his touted fiscal responsibility, the state employee's furloughs are paying for those 100 million dollar contracts to out of state vendors.

Martin O'Malley is H-O-T! Ehrlich is a creepy , spongy, bilious, dog married to another boozehound.
