Prince George's County government closed again
The Prince George's County government will be closed for the second straight day Thursday, with the exception of "essential public safety employees," officials said in a statement early Thursday morning.
"The main reason is to ensure public safety," said county spokesman John Erzen. "This encourages everyone to stay off the roads one more day to allow the plows to do what they need to in order to make roads as passable as possible."
