Is this a “Metric” of victory as devised by General McChrystal and his “Team America” Staff to bribe and pay off the Afghanistan Warlords/Taliban? While perhaps expedient, it is counter to common sense and only delusion of progress. This is as absurd as the CIA recently signing a $100M with the Blackwater criminals!

lufrank1---That's right. Now look where the Chinese stand in the World situation today. In fact I think China loaned Obama the money that is falling out of his pockets. A nation that is as far in debt as ours does not need to be involved in supporting or fighting a Civil War anywhere in the World.

Neat! I'm so old, I remember when WE supported Chinese Warlords the same way!

What a mess! Our money going to, support those who want to kill our soldiers, warlords who only want to increase their power and wealth, politicians who care more about their wealth and positions. Generals and their staff who use poor judgment. Soldiers who suffering psychologically, physically, monetarily, socially and spiritually! How much more can we stand?

Nothing like buying off your enemy. No doubt these contractors or mercenaries also help these Warlords a little with their Heroin shipments. Here in America if one has anti-war sentiments you are being put on a possible terrorist watch list by our government. It is no different than with the Vietnam War. The only exception is that our intelligence technologies are so much more advanced. In fact if these same technologies were used as efficiently in Afghanistan as are here this war would have been over long ago. God Help US All
