It never ceases to amaze me how obviously hypocritical liberals can be. So Obama who has spent maybe 8 to 10 hours on the "spill" - (that has not been totally trying to manipulate it into Cap and Tax), but the BP Chair or CEO are unfeeling jerks.

AT, why did you not give Tony a tin-foil hat to go with his sheer idiocy???

Posted by: meldupree | June 21, 2010 8:41 PM | Report abuse

They have replaced Tony with another spokesman here in the US. We will not be seeing any more of him now. I think he felt his health was being too threatened by the chemicals that BP has been spraying on the oil spill. Now it is being said that those chemicals, which are banned in Europe, will be evaporated into the atmosphere and cause acid rain. Run Tony Run!!! It is no longer safe to be in the States. Happy yachting and tell the Queen many of US will never forgive her for what she did to Diana.

Are these liberals so stupid not be able to figure out if all they listened to was Limbaugh why are they taking time to go to the Wash Po website? Dahh!

If I remember correctly from about 4th grade . . . one or two more folds of the Admiral's paper hat would transform it into an origami "yacht".

Say. . . Kieth & Alutz . . . don't you remember that the worst president in our history, GW Bush, spent more time on VACATION than almost any other President? Geeze! Such Ignorance, or blindness, or Both!

I cannot for the LIFE of me understand how people can get SO ignorant and gullible as this Keith person! Do they intentionally close their eyes and ears to the facts and only listen to the Rush Limbaugh's and Glenn Beck's of the world?? How did they get to an adult age and NEVER learn how to RESEARCH FACTS and THINK with their OWN brains!!

Posted by: Maerzie | June 21, 2010 2:44 PM | Report abuse

Figure it out, Keith! DUHHH?? Obama's been working on this recklessness by BP, et al almost 24/7 since they committed their atrocity! Tony is so deaf, dumb, and blind to it all, lavishing in the plunder of their conscienceless irregard for their damage to human and animal lives and welfare that he's in another world! Obama is simply TIRED and needs a well-deserved break! Tony needs to get FIRED and/or disinherited(?), and WORK for a living for a change!

This is more of a situation of the pot calling the kettle black. Not a whole lot mentioned of Obama taking in a baseball game Friday night, or that he took 6 hours out of his day on Sunday to again play golf. I think if you go back and look at the number of times Obama has played golf vs Bush's whole 8 years, you will find the Bamster has hit the links far more than Bush, just at this point in time.

Ann---The hat says it all. Maybe it should be made of tinfoil. I made a comment earlier on your last animation that maybe the Queen of England should donate the Royal Yacht HYS Britannia along with oil skimmers to help clean up this mess. I can not understand why the wealthy elite feel our Planet's resources are at their total disposal.

Bloomberg did an interview with oil drilling expert Matt Simmons. Everyone who is really concerned about this tragedy should look at. What he says is very terrifying concerning what it might really take to stop this flow of oil into the Gulf if at all. This disaster is nowhere close from being over. The impact this will eventually have on American's will be at a much greater cost than $20 billion. Besides who could ever put a dollar amount on the total enviornmental impact this will have concerning our oceans and shorelines.

Tony needs to find another job. He is an embarrassment to his company and the oil industry. By his stalling, evasion and falsehoods he has shown what is wrong with modern corporate structure. Perhaps he needs to work on a skimmer cleaning up the mess he is responsible for creating!
