Bin Laden thanks Christian extremists for their support

In a videotaped message issued to mark the ninth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden praised Christian extremists for inflaming the Islamic world with their anti-Muslim actions and rhetoric.

He spoke particularly of plans to build an Islamic-based cultural center in New York City and of a Florida preacher threatening to burn the Koran.

The tape, apparently recorded on Saturday, was aired Monday on the Arabic-language network Al Jazeera and was confirmed as authentic by the FBI.

“Lately, with your President Obama reaching out to the Muslim world and troops leaving Iraq it was becoming more difficult to recruit and convince our Muslim brothers and sisters that America is out to destroy Islam, but then you guys lose your marbles and all I have to do is roll the videotape. I don’t even have to make things up or give a fiery speech,” bin Laden said on the videotape. “Every time Americans do something stupid like the Abu Ghraib scandal, the reaction against a New York Islamic center or this man in Florida threatening to burn the Koran it makes my job so much easier. We’re going to exceed our recruitment goals for the month thanks to you guys. ” (continued…)

Any agressive actions taken encouraging War and Violence is the wrong attitude. SEEK THE TRUTH before taking extreme counter measures should be the lesson learned form the 9/11 attack. The actions taken by the Bush administration after this attack became extremely more damaging to all Americans that the original event itself.

Tolerance is something that the United States does it's best to employ. Many in the rest of the world don't even know what tolerance means.

Liberal women from the USA wear a burqua for peace it's your duty to save the world by appeasing them, but don't strip tease.

Putting things in to proper perspective...

Sticks and stones,

(and men flying planes in to buildings)

may break your bones. (or kill you)

But names,

(or building a mosque and burning religious books),

will never 'hurt" you! (you'll still be alive and intact)

How much easier life would be if no one could cause a reaction by deliberately hurting someone elses feelings

We've killed more taliban and al qeada in the past 2 years then the previous 6 but none of that filters into past the nonsense liberal-conservative paradigm where liberals hate america and only conservatives are strong on nationalal defense. Terry Jones represents the bigotry and intolerance that has always been in the background of American history. The African Americans, Hispanics, Catholics, Native Americans, Irish, Italians, Jews, Mormons, Muslims, Atheist and so many others have been and in some cases still are viewed as a threat by sigments of our society. It takes many forms and intensity but feeds itself in myths, lies and misunderstandings. The Bible in Matthew 12:25: "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand." Perhaps Reverend Jones and others should take this to heart.

Just think of ALL the Peace on Earth if Religious Fundamentalists of ALL religions would move to Antarctica and wait for the gods that they have created in their own images to come down from "Heaven" (wherever that is) and sweep them away - - - anywhere away from the rest of us.
