Proper job Ann,
Our disconnect with reality is going to be our demise.
So much potential and so little success.
The lattest Wikileaks is a prime example of our incompetence. The disrespectful and belligerent attitudes of our so wrongly called "diplomats" is only the tip of the incompetency that is ramped.
We need government employees including the President and Congressmen who are highly qualified not incompetent. The Republicans and the Democrats need to read Plato's Republic and practice what it preaches.

We are in still in Afghanistan because the past administration took its eyes off the ball and decided to prove that it could do what George H did not do, overthrow Saddam. They did not provide the men, resources or support needed to subdue the terrorist. Just remember we had Osama and the Taliban at Tora Bora and allowed them to escape thus extending the war.

Hey jornolibist, any time you conservatives want to win the war on poverty using non-governmental means, go right ahead. I won't stop you.

Bummer situation - - - for our troops, us, and Afghanistan civilians.
Just don't DENY that Playboy Bush put us in this situation by invading IRAQ.
I see that jornolibist still makes comments that have no relation to the Cartoon, and moreover, are misleading. For example, he should have mentioned that the Corporate Owned Republicans are chiefly responsible for our current AND 1930's poverty.

Liberals have been fighting the war on poverty for over 40 years and poverty is still winning.
