Go Ann Go!!!! I love that you've pointed out that Fox loves to say the opposite of what is true.

After reading the one below, no wonder 2,000 lib scientists say they believe in the manmade global warming hoax because evidently they believe anything that's reported in the NYT, WP, NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN and Puffy Post is science, but not rocket science.

FOX News is fair and balanced as advertised and makes total sense, and historians will marvel (much as they will about warming alarmists) that anyone could doubt it.

Liberalism cannot survive when challenged by truth, facts and reality that's why so many liberals don't like FOX News, don't have jobs, have to live with their parents all their lives and are always whining and complaining about people who work harder and make more money. Here is a test question as proof.....Has the globe ever experienced periods of warming and cooling when man couldn't have possibly been the cause?

The University of Maryland "study" used a false premise: It listed a series of liberal core beliefs, and then judged the respondents on whether or not they agree with liberal core beliefs. All their study showed was that on average, people who watch Fox News were not believers in the liberal/leftist line.

What a revelation. Who woulda thunk it?

How much government grant money did they spend to find that out?

Wow! Proof of the old proverb, "Hit Dogs Always Holler"!
Look at the large number of Limbaugh's (and Beck's and Hannity's and Palin's and Roves') Dittoheads hollered in the comments.

Bottom line for nearest thing to fair and balanced and factual news = PBS & John Stewart.

Fact - Viewers who listen to and actually believe Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, Palin, etc. are OBVIOUSLY misinformed, and are very likely of undiscerning minds.

Talk about mis-information.

Go read the original study and you'll see that MSNBC, NPR, PBS and others are attributed to putting out their own spin and that their viewers are as misinformed as any other news outlets viewers.

Nice to see a cartoonist keeping the tradition of lying to the public going.

Ms. Telnaes. It is you who are not informed. A CBS/NY Times study showed the Tea Party ( I am not one)people to be higher in income and education than the average voter. The main stream media is so one sided and liberally biased that people are turning to Fox News in droves to get BOTH sides of the issues. Beck and Hannity say right up front who they are so you can chose to watch or not and Fox News is the best out there. I look at all the News from the Times to Wall Street Journal to the local news and I am a fan of Fox News. You could not be more wrong.

Posted by: katie6 | December 27, 2010 11:18 AM | Report abuse

You actually believe that the WP, for example, "reads multiple sources and checks every fact"??? If they had, they would not have published this as a story. They would have actually looked at the incredibly bad questions asked in this "poll" (for example, questions that ask what scientists "think", and what economists "believe" are particularly unscientific). The questions in this "poll" were designed to achieve a particular political result. The definition of "correct" was not scientific, either.

Yet the "journalist" who wrote this story, and the paper that printed it did not do what you suggest that all journalists do, which is to review both sides of the issue, and try to find "fact" versus "opinion". This poll is a pretty good example of bias masquerading as a "poll". And, of course, you wouldn't find anything like that objectionable, would you?

Is the WP masquerading as a fair and balanced paper or is it in your opinion part of the DNC and wants to discredit opposing views anyway it can?
Ah..duh. trying to discredit any opposing view any which way it can.

OH OH.. that means I'm misinformed!!!

There some of US who are aware that the mainstream media rarely is allowed to tell the COMPLETE & ABSOLUTE TRUTH about any major event or issue that takes place in today's world. Fox is just more obvious about it. Ann, it's like you're saying that Fox's Bobble Heads have more bobble than the other side of the media. The fact that politics in America is being played like professional wrestling is very sad. If you want to find out the complete TRUTH today a person has to take the time to really go out and look for it.

The documentary video, "9/11 Ripple Effect" is one that I suggest all to objectively take a look at and decide for yourself. Architects, engineers, pilots, security specialists, and a wide variety of other professionals have questioned the government's version of 9/11. What I think is sad about how our government, who gets away with such dishonesty, is the apathy displayed by the citizens in this country who accept it and feel there can't be anything done about. I don't think that is what America's Founding Fathers had in mind when they wrote the CONSTITUTION!

In fact Fox has more viewers than all the other cable outlets combined for very good reasons!! That is what scares you lefties to death and causes these types of BS to get ink in WAPO.

So tell me Ann Telnaes, who has the market on the truth agaim? That is, who decided or defined what the "real" story was for any given news item so that viewers could be evaluated as being informed or misinformed? I am perplexed by this study. I often watch MSNBC's Morning Joe and it is amazing the variety of opinions on what the real story is about any political news.

After reading the other comments posted here, it is apparent that the next uprising will be the informed vs. misinformed...no matter which side wins, they will be the most informed

Makes one wonder whether they are attacking the messenger because they don't care for the message.
Tell us a little more about this "study" Ms. Telnaes. Who requested and who financed said study?
No censoring, no Fairness Doctrine or any other nonsense. Many sources, many voices and let Americans decide where the truth lies. A controlled media has no place in this Democratic Republic.

billybeer wrote>>>At least FOX News viewers don't believe that the manmade global warming hoax causes more snow and colder winters

Yes, it's all too complicated for Faux Noise viewers that prefer disinformation over actual FACTS.....

The recent release of a World Meteorological Organization report shows that 2010 will probably be among the three warmest years on record, and 2001 through 2010 the warmest decade on record.

More heat can result in more snow – but don’t attempt to explain it to Beck and other global warming deniers....

>>>As global temperatures have warmed and as Arctic sea ice has melted over the past two and a half decades, more moisture has become available to fall as snow over the continents.....the Eastern United States, Northern Europe and East Asia have experienced extraordinarily snowy and cold winters since the turn of this century. Most forecasts have failed to predict these colder winters, however, because the primary drivers in their models are the oceans, which have been warming even as winters have grown chillier.

It is sad but hilarious that liberals spend so much time bashing Fox. The Liberals media god MSNBC with anemic ratings spends considerable time twisting stories about Fox with PBS a close second.

If liberals and their obvious bias do not like Fox they should just ignore it. The more they talk about and bash Fox the higher the ratings go.

Liberals are becoming almost as irrelevant as many of the WAPO writers.

In their desperation for the sluggish economy americans look for scapegoats and FAUX NEWS provides plenty of them like president Obama, illegal immigrants, liberals, gays, socialists, and so on. The Tea Party was born under this vicious climate stating they want THEIR COUNTRY BACK!!!How are the problems going to be solved in our country if there are people with so much hate inside??? Since January the tea baggers are going to start implementing their policies and with that comes THE CONSECUENCES. Jon Stewart just wanted the Congress to sign a blank check without thinking. That's why we have a $1.3 trillion deficit this year. The study that Ms Telanes cites is a complete joke. The study claimed that the economy was improving and that the stimulus created jobs were facts. Those aren't facts. So the premise of your cartoon is quite laughable.

Another Soros-funded TPM article. That University survey is subjective.

Is there really global warming or is it the start of a mini ice-age? My, how we forget those Climategate emails.

And this from Bob Schieffer on Face the Nation to Axelrod:

"SCHIEFFER: Now, I want to ask you about that because the New York Times looked into the Chamber specifically and said the Chamber really isn’t putting foreign money into the campaign. That it does charge its foreign affiliates dues that bring in less than $100,000 a year. A lot of organizations, including labor unions, do that. But the Chamber has an annual budget of $200 million. Along with that it keeps these foreign dues separate. They do spend heavily in politics — $25 million so far. They expect to spend $50 million. But this part about foreign money, that appears to be peanuts, Mr. Axelrod. Do you have any evidence that it’s anything other than peanuts?

AXELROD: Well, do you have any evidence that it’s not, Bob? The fact is that the Chamber has asserted that but they won’t release any information about where their campaign money is coming from.

SCHIEFFER: I guess I would put it this way. If the only charge three weeks into the election that the Democrats can make is that somehow this may or may not be foreign money coming into the campaign, is that the best you can do?"

Soros, Obama and the Left want to shut down FOXNews and will contrive a survey with subjective, contrived, progressive questions to which they have a liberal mainstream spin for what they consider the correct response.

FOX presents both sides of an issue, unlike the liberal MSM networks which present only one side pf a story. The progressive side.

Telnaes you are becoming more irrelevant and delusional the farther left you lean.
