College Tour '10: Vassar College
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY
Vassar College
From a student
I liked that there is no core curriculum because it leaves freedom for you to take the classes that will inspire you the most.
I also liked that they have tea and cookies in the dorms every night.
I didn’t like the small town around it, but it would probably be fine.
This is one in a series of reports that parents and students are contributing about their campus tours this spring. If you have visited a school and would like to participate, email me a brief report at theanswersheet@washpost.com. You can find out more about College Tour ’10 and how to write about your college visit here.
