The List: 10 best college presidents, as determined by Time
Here is Time magazine’s list of 10 best college presidents. The entertaining story to which it is attached is about Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee, called "The Big Man on Campus," and it is written by my former Post colleague David von Drehle.
Here’s Time's list, though it is not known how the selections were made:
1) E. Gordon Gee--Ohio State University
And all the rest:
John Sexton--New York University
Mary Sue Coleman--University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Michael Crow--Arizona State University
Scott Cowen--Tulane University, New Orleans
Ronald Liebowitz--Middlebury College, Vermont
Freeman Hrabowski--University of Maryland, Baltimore County
Eduardo Padron--Miami Dade College
Juliet Garcia--University of Texas, Brownsville
Mark Yudof--University of California, Oakland
Who would you nominate to be on list of great school presidents?
