Morgan, Poehler to join in Fey salute

To no one's surprise Tracy Morgan and Amy Poehler have been added to the crowd of colleagues saluting Tina Fey at the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

Currently Morgan is part of the "30 Rock" crew, which is Fey's weekly award-winning workplace comedy. For several seasons Morgan was a mainstay on "Saturday Night Live," where Fey rose to fame over nine seasons. Poehler is another fixture of the "SNL" family and is an alum of Second City and Comedy Central. She and Fey starred the movie, "Mean Girls."

All the presenters and performers will toast Fey on November 9 at the Kennedy Center and the event will be taped by WETA and air on PBS November 14.

Jaqueline, Amy Poehler was not in Mean Girls. As a journalist myself, it really aggravates me that people who can't even fact check information that is as easy to access as going on Tina Fey or Poehler's imdb.com page get to work for the Washington Post. Fey worked with Poehler in Baby Mama, not Mean Girls. It's not like you're working with anonymous sources and the AP code of Ethics to report on something controversial or groundbreaking....you should be able to get a few simple movie titles right.

hahaha websterwalter, Amy Poehler WAS in Mean Girls as Regina George's mother. It's nice to see that you are such a quality journalist who checks his facts before you call someone out...
