Tennessee Williams's birthday celebration

Tennessee Williams.
The 100th birthday of Tennessee Williams will be celebrated with performances, readings and recordings locally beginning in January.
"America's Playwright at 100: A Salute to Tennessee Williams" will be held at Ford's Theater on Jan. 31. Academy Award winner Eli Wallach and other performers will participate in readings from Williams' plays, poems and letters. The event will also include recordings of the playwright himself.
Tickets are $30 for the 90-minute program.
