Tug of the Jersey
If anybody has seen highlights of Ryan Braun's game-ending grand slam for Milwaukee last night, you'll notice that he untucked his jersey after rounding third base while heading for home. Prince Fielder did the same thing after a walk-off blast on Tuesday.
According to a segment on ESPN radio I heard earlier this week, the ritual is a tribute to the father of Brewers outfielder Mike Cameron, who said that nothing felt better than coming home after a hard day's work and untucking your shirt.
Given that the Brewers just swept Pittsburgh, consider it a job well done.
