Changes Coming for Commenters

In the next few days, The Post will begin to require registration in order to comment on its various blogs. During installation, there will be a short period -- hopefully no more than a couple of hours -- in which you will not be able to post comments at all. Sorry I can't be more specific about when exactly this will occur.

Registration has been on the horizon for awhile, but it was accelerated after a recent spam attack that seriously bogged down the site.
