Game 5 Tonight? Maybe...
Right now, the resumption of Game 5 is scheduled for 8 p.m. tonight, according to Fox, which -- if you haven't noticed by now -- is in charge of Major League Baseball. Fox hates Tuesday games because they pre-empt "House," but their much-touted "Fringe" was a re-run tonight anyway, so good for them!
And what is the forecast for tonight? According to the fine folks at The Weather Channel, at 8 tonight in Philadelphia it will be 40 degrees, but feel like 29, with a 50 percent chance of "showers" and winds of 25 mph. "Showers" is an improvement over the forecast for much of today, which is for "rain." The chance of "showers" does taper as the evening progresses. Maybe we'll have a 10 p.m. start again?
Oh, and the Wednesday forecast? "Snow showers." But cheer up -- only in the morning.
