Great Pitching, Light Rain and the Seventh-Inning Stretch
Cole Hamels just set down the side in the top of the seventh, with a light rain falling on Citizens Bank Park, and there remains no activity in the Phillies' bullpen -- even though Cole Hamels himself is leading off the bottom of the seventh. This is Hamels's game, and he has been tremendous thus far, retiring the first 14 batters he faced and to this point allowing only two hits and a walk, while striking out eight.
It's 3-0, Phillies, in the bottom of the seventh.
