Now, then, about the weather. A quick look at weather.com now shows a 100 percent chance of rain tonight -- which, come to think of it, meshes with what I'm seeing now from the press box at Citizens Bank Park. A light rain is falling, and the tarp is on the infield. But we're also more than three hours to game time, and my own personal weather expert, Thomas Boswell, has informed me the rain is supposed to end around 7 p.m., with skies clearing after that. I'll know in a couple of hours whether he can be believed.
UPDATE AT 5:55 P.M.
We're hearing first pitch will be around 9:30 p.m., about a one-hour delay, but that there won't be any weather issues after that.
