Moment of Levity: The Big Picture

Yup, here's your official "as high as you can get in the left field upper deck" shot from Yankee Stadium. And, we have to admit, that's a heck of a view. Particularly on Flag Day, and the Fourth of July, and Patriot's Day and Veteran's Day. In fact, we're pretty certain you'll see an awfully similar photo right here as soon as the next Patriot holiday hits (but perhaps not on Flag Day itself, since that coincides with Marathon Monday, which makes for plenty of other unique photographs in one northeastern market). Wow. I've heard about those seats but a picture is worth a thousand words. Talk about the nosebleed section...

Would you even notice if the entire right side of the infield and RF just weren't on the field? I don't think you would.

Does anyone really call 9/11 "Patriot's Day?" The only "Patriots' Day" that matters is the third Monday in April, celebrated in MA and ME (which was part of MA until 1820), commemorating the 1775 battles of Lexington and Concord.
