Only a Few Hours Left To Post Your Predictions
I see we're up to 42 entries in our 2009 Predictions Contest -- actually, make that 40, since russtinator had to double back to add one pick he neglected on the first go-round, and since ejharrisjr40 apparently felt a vague range for the Nationals' win total would sufficiently show his prognosticating acumen.
We're cutting off the picks at 1 p.m. today -- OK, we'll give you until 1:10 p.m. That's when the first game of the day gets underway. Last night's official opener was a freebie. If you were waiting to see how that game played out, and you suddenly want to make Derek Lowe your NL Cy Young pick or Jordan Schafer your choice for NL rookie because of it -- by all means, knock yourselves out.
Tomorrow, if I get a chance, I will tabulate all the picks and give of glimpse of how B-I readers think the 2009 season will play out.
One other thing: I don't have a surefire way of getting in touch with the winner of this thing in November, in order to give them the Very Special Prize. Just be aware that I'll be sending out a call to the winner -- right here on the blog -- to send me an email (sheinind@washpost.com) at the end of this thing, in order to get the Very Special Prize to that person.

I see that Art Vandelay weighed in there (nice try, but we all know that it's really Costanza).
