All the First Day Draft Recap You Could Want

Looking for a complete list of all the draft picks from the first day of the Major League Draft? Believe it or not, they really did keep picking after Stephen Strasburg at No. 1.

Here's your complete first day results, including the Nationals selections of Strasburg, Drew Storen (No. 10 overall), Jeff Kobernus (No. 50 overall) and Trevor Holder (No. 81 overall).

Want more inside dope on all the picks? Try this Baseball America breakdown of each and every first round pick right here.

BA also has a pretty cool composite list of all the best players still on the board. A potential first round catcher is still out there? Yes, yes he is.

And, if you still can't get enough, you can go really in-depth and check out the draft database, which breaks down all selections by team or round.

Just in case you weren't completely sold on how who a team picks where really is important, there's always this piece by Baseball Prospectus's Steven Goldman. Did you know Bruce Sutter wasn't picked at all? Yeah, we didn't either. Anyone know of other Hall of Famers who didn't even get picked (since the semi-modern draft era began)?

Oh, and just in case you don't want to click over to the ESPN link, I'll paste in the complete first day picks after the jump, too.
